The couple was discovered in their home on Lagoon Court during a welfare check conducted by Riverhead Town Police on the evening of Wednesday, June 11, 2025. According to the police report, both Edward and Stephanie suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The investigation concluded that Edward fatally shot Stephanie before turning the gun on himself.
