Victim Identified :Fairview Township Pennsylvania Crash Claims Life of 76-Year-Old Christine Hurt"

Fairview Township, PA —A tragic crash on Thursday afternoon has left the Fairview community in mourning after 76-year-old Christine Hurt lost her life in a single-vehicle accident.

The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. in the 6000 block of West Lake Road, near the intersection with Hardscrabble Boulevard. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Hurt’s vehicle veered off the road, striking a guardrail and then a tree. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Christine Hurt was pronounced dead at the scene.

Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook confirmed the victim’s identity late Thursday evening. An official cause of death has not yet been released, and investigators are still working to determine what led to the crash.

Christine Hurt was a longtime resident of Fairview and known among neighbors for her gentle nature and warm presence. Friends and community members have expressed deep sorrow over her passing.
