The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene and fled immediately after the crash, according to police. Authorities have not yet released a description of the vehicle or driver and are actively investigating the incident.

“This is a senseless tragedy. Someone’s son, brother, friend lost their life tonight, and the person responsible ran away,” said a community member who lives near the intersection. “It’s heartbreaking, and we just hope justice is served.”

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect. Surveillance footage from nearby homes and businesses is being reviewed, and officers are canvassing the area for witnesses who may have seen the crash or the fleeing driver.

Motorcycle fatalities have continued to rise both locally and nationwide, and this incident adds to a growing list of deadly crashes involving hit-and-run drivers. Milwaukee residents have repeatedly expressed concern about reckless driving and dangerous intersections throughout the city.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Milwaukee Police Department or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (414) 224-TIPS. Tipsters may be eligible for a reward.

As the investigation continues, the victim’s family is left to grieve a life cut tragically short.
