Red Deer, Alberta – With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Doreen Karen Depalme, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who departed this life on June 24, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born in High River, Alberta, and a longtime resident of Red Deer, Doreen’s life was a radiant testament to kindness, family devotion, and unwavering faith. Her warm spirit and boundless love touched every life she encountered, and her loss leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is mourned by her devoted husband, Raymond Depalme, and their loving children: Travis Depalme (Dana), Adele Ohama (Vince), and Natalie Evdokimoff (David). Doreen’s legacy lives on in her cherished grandchildren — Reid Depalme (Katlyn), Parker Depalme, Elaina, and Erica Evdokimoff — and her precious great-grandson, Rhett Depalme. She now joins her dear parents, Willard and Dorothy Kjinserdahl, in peaceful rest.

Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, July 1st, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 67a Street, Red Deer. A Funeral Mass celebrating Doreen’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer.
