Beaumont, TX — The city of Beaumont is grieving the devastating loss of Kaden R. Alfred, a 16-year-old whose bright spirit and gentle kindness left an enduring mark on all who knew him. Kaden passed away on July 18, 2025, leaving behind a heartbroken community and a void that cannot be filled.

In a life far too short, Kaden shined with a warmth that made others feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether through a kind word, a quiet gesture of support, or a contagious smile, Kaden’s presence brought comfort and light to those around him.

Family and friends are preparing to gather for a memorial service on Saturday, August 9th, at 10:00 AM at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel, where tears will be shed, stories shared, and love remembered.

“In every room Kaden entered, there was a quiet joy,” one family member said. “You didn’t have to know him long to feel his goodness. He was simply someone who made the world better just by being in it.”
