A tragic shooting at the Reserve at Lone Oak apartment complex on San Antonio’s Far South Side has resulted in the death of Ralph Kenneth Henderson, a 46-year-old resident of the area. The incident occurred on the evening of Thursday, June 5, at approximately 7:30 p.m., near the intersection of Liedecke Road and Loop 1604.

According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), officers responded to reports of gunfire at the apartment complex, located at 20005 Liedecke Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Henderson with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead

A child, identified as an 11-year-old girl, was also struck by fragments from the shooting while walking with her mother in the vicinity. She suffered minor graze wounds and was treated at the scene.
